Vista: Oh for gods sake

So my Elonex eXentia saga get worse.  So I have worked out that if I put it to sleep I get my DVD drive back .. cool! But now I loose sound! So … Reboot = NO DVD but sound! Sleep = DVD but NO sound! That’s it, I have had enough … Windows XP
